Prodige Pocket clarinet
The Pocket Clarinet allows young aspiring musicians to practice on a genuine single-reed musical instrument, as the sound is produced by a B-flat clarinet mouthpiece and resonates in a body made of Mozambique ebony (Dalbergia melanoxylon).
Easy to play and in tune.
Thanks to its adjustable thumb rest, the Pocket Clarinet Prodige is a lightweight and easy-to-handle instrument that will help children become accustomed to the feel they will experience on their future B-flat clarinet.
The result of 3 years of R&D
This surprising instrument is the result of 3 years of research conducted by the Interface Acoustics Music and Instrument Making Laboratory (LIAMFI), a joint laboratory created in 2017 between Buffet Crampon and the Laboratory of Mechanics and Acoustics (https://laboratoire-mecanique-acoustique.fr).
